On 7th June the 3rd Camberwell MA Salon was held at the NN Project Space, Northampton.
The Salons have been an ongoing project by the last two years of graduates from the Camberwell MA Fine Art course. As the MA Fine Art has moved to Chelsea the Camberwell Alumni felt it was important to keep in contact with each other and hopefully provide a supportive critical and social context for one another through the salons.
Taking the form of a group crit the salons are an opportunity to catch up, network and get valuable feed back on new work and ideas. The project space was used to hold the salon and present the art work of several participating artists including Ruyi Wong (remote presentation from Singapore), Tracey Payne, Mel Cole and myself.

The Salon was organised by Leonie Venables and we had a quick tour to my studio at the The Artist Sanctuary before a visit to the current exhibition at NN Contemporary, Jonbar Archaeology.
Previous salons have taken place at Unthank Art Space, Norwich and Camberwell School of Art.
Many thanks to NN Contemporary for hosting the Salon in their great project space more details of which can be found here.
We are very pleased to have been selected for the NN Open exhibition!
The judging panel for the open were Gareth Bell-Jones (Wysing Arts Centre) and Jennie Syson (SYSON Gallery).
The final exhibition has been selected from hundreds of applications and features work from artists living and working in Argentina to France, York to Sussex and many from Northampton and the county.
The launch of the Open also marks NN's first year in its new home at Number Nine Guildhall Road and will be making the launch double as their birthday party, so come and celebrate with us on 12 December from 6pm!
This exhibition is also the 4th exhibition we are showing at in Northampton 3 in the 'Cultural Quarter' and 2 on Guildhall Road on both sides of the street!
